Dr. Scot Morris


Dr. Scot Morris is a renowned international speaker, educator, and writer. He is known for his research and experience in eye diseases, practice management, technology, and more. He is widely published in journals, books, references, the web, and other sources.

As chief optometric editor for Optometric Management and consultant to many companies both inside and outside eye care, Dr. Morris is a trusted resource for people from all walks of life. He is the operating partner of Morris Education & Consulting Associates, and a founding member of the National Student Practice Symposium Series. He is also the  medical director of Eye Consultants of Colorado. A member of American Optometric Association, the Colorado Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Scot has been voted as one of the “50 Most Influential People in Eye Care” by Optometric Management.

Dr. Morris received his doctorate degree in optometry from Indiana University in 1996, and his residency was at Triad Eye Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He served as the clinical cornea and refractive director at Discover Vision Centers in Kansas City for five years before he moved to Colorado in 2002.
