The Warehouse Team Leader will lead an assigned team through the daily activities in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of projects. This role will encourage and delegate as needed to ensure smooth and consistent daily operations so orders can be filled in an effective and efficient manner to satisfy customer and company requirements as well as performing warehouse associate duties. Physical Demands:
This job operates in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines and standard warehouse equipment such as light machinery, hand trucks, pallet jack, heat gun, box cutters and tape dispensers.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, type, perform repetitive motions, use hands or fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Dress Standards:
Attention should be paid to safety, Company image, and customer interaction. All employees working in the warehouse, including but not limited to any Customer Service back up, will be required to wear closed-toe shoes, long pants and avoid loose fitting or torn clothing that could pose a safety hazard.
