It is the figure used in the Doc2Home presentation: about $14 of profit to your practice on each monthly order, which is the patient price minus the Lunovus wholesale price. Your number depends on the price you set and the products the patient takes, so treat it as an illustration and confirm it for your practice on the setup call.
How long do patients stay on auto-ship?
Average retention is about 85% at 6 months and about 70% at 12 months. Patients on AREDS 2 formulas stay longer than patients on omega-3s because the AREDS 2 protocol is open-ended. The compounding is real: a practice that enrolls 5 patients a week reaches about $3,600 a month in commission within 12 months, before any cancellations.
